Principal's Message

A very warm welcome to Good Shepherd Convent Schools. At our schools, the students are our first priority as we continuously strive to provide a safe learning environment that fosters excellence in every aspect: intellectual, physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual.

We believe that education should be experiential and holistic, preparing young minds to be socially and environmentally conscious to respond to the pressing current realities thereby equipping them to become the champions of intergenerational change. Our schools embrace diversity and all our teachers and support staff contribute towards making this a happy and safe space.

During the centennial year, Good Shepherd offers a new beginning for those who wish to qualify their life with fresh knowledge and learning. To enter into that space, we need to deepen the concept of education and what it can offer to our lives. Education is nothing but the architecture of the human soul. True education should deepen our insight, widen our horizon and create a meaningful outlook.

The mind is not a vessel that needs filling,
but wood that needs igniting. — Plutarch

At Good Shepherd Centenary School, the inquiry based approach enables pupils to embark on the learning process with creativity, confidence and flexibility, thus helping the learners discover their strengths in their pursuit of individual excellence. Further, the integrated curriculum emphasizes skill development, technology integration, sustainability principles, reflection, applied thinking and evaluation which prepare the student for competitive examinations, a necessary prerequisite to succeed in any professional field.

The aim of CISCE is to “develop holistic and well-rounded individuals, who would make a difference to the world at large.” English forms the base of all communication in the CISCE’s global vision, thereby enhancing the linguistic skills. This again reiterates the vision of Good Shepherd Centenary School which focuses on developing the life skills in students thus shaping them into socially and ecologically responsible citizens.

I believe that the rich partnership between the parents, teachers and all the stakeholders will help us co-create a wonderful and sacred learning space for all.
